The scene opens with Peter (John Strong) using his laptop to indulge in father-daughter pornography. He's really into it, drawn in by the sexual acts and nature of the relationship on television, but he becomes distracted when his own stepdaughter, Mary (Kenna James), knocks on the door. She has something important to tell him, so he hastily closes the laptop and conceals the tissues before letting her into the room. She tells Peter that he's a great stepfather, and he listens. She feels as though something is lacking, even though he has tried his hardest to provide her with a happy life. They still don't seem like a true family to me. Peter tells her that he would be pleased to adopt her in order to make everything more real, even though he is a little lost. She maintains, though, that's not what she needs. No, she's hoping to get married to Peter and establish a family. She want for him to conceive her! Peter is in disbelief and insists he can't possibly conceive her! She is his offspring! Yet, Mary is quick to remind him that she's his step-daughter... She says, "I know he lusts for her," which further erodes his willpower. She knows he watches videos of family roleplay.
