A box is delivered by Daniel (Ken Feels), a delivery man, to Carrie (Penelope Woods), a teen. Daniel hears a man inside who sounds violent as he hands Carrie the gift. Carrie anxiously closes the door on Daniel, who starts to worry. Over the following few months, Daniel becomes increasingly suspicious that there is problems in the family every time he delivers a gift to the home. Daniel believes that Carrie's elderly father is mistreating both Carrie and his wife, but Carrie refuses to acknowledge the problems, which makes Daniel more and more frantic to assist. Daniel ultimately makes the decision to act alone because no one else will. Daniel sends a vitamin shipment to Carrie's elderly father on that fateful day, but he appears a little anxious this time. He instructs Carrie to make sure the guy of the home receives the vitamins. It's all for him, nothing else. Daniel inhales as Carrie shuts the door after assuring him that she will. After a span of two years, Carrie is in a much better mood and has adopted Daniel as her new stepfather. It is revealed that two years ago, Carrie's grandfather unexpectedly died of a heart attack and that Daniel later wed his widow. Everything in the world is now right. Carrie claims that her life has improved greatly since her father's death and is overjoyed that he is no longer with her. She no longer lives in fear because of her old man's cruelty, and the way everything worked out feels almost like a blessing. She is incredibly appreciative of the shift and having Daniel as her devoted stepfather. She even feels as though someone has been keeping an eye on them because everything came together so She responds in the affirmative when Daniel asks whether she means to thank someone for getting rid of her old dad. At that point, he admits to playing a role in the elderly man's passing. Daniel claims that he did what he did to give Carrie the regular life she deserved because he could no longer watch her suffer. To Daniel's surprise, though, Carrie shows her desire for him in addition to her appreciation for his deeds! He struggles with his own prohibited thoughts and attempts to explain her that are unacceptable. Carrie notes that he may have been secretly WANTING her because the actions he made were extremely drastic for someone with purely good motives. Daniel attempts to dismiss this, but after all this time, he can't help but feel that there was more to it. At that point, Carrie really puts on her charm and persuades Daniel that there's really only one way to find out.
