Scene opens with Kathy (Krissy Lynn) and her husband David (Ryan Driller) waiting tensely for Lynn (Chloe Temple), the new teen sitter. Particularly tough for Kathy, who gets paranoid easily, is mentally getting ready for a new sitter. However, David comforts her as usual, telling her that everything will work out. Who can she trust if not the love of her life, David? Lynn seems plenty sweet when she gets there. Perhaps this is just Kathy's imagination, but Lynn appears especially drawn to David. It's not as if Kathy is A SURE 'It's going to be so great becoming you,' Lynn added. 'It's going to be fun getting to know you,' Lynn says she naturally said. Every day when Kathy and David get home from work, Kathy is more anxious. Lynn is just too ideal. Is she even beginning to emulate Kathy's style? She has the same hair and is dressed in the same shirts. This isn't right in any way. Kathy is certain that David is unfaithful to her and that she will be fired shortly. David genuinely defends Lynn when she confronts him about it, telling Kathy that she's overanalyzing the situation and that she always sees the worst in people. Why is he unable to see the reality the way Kathy does? Kathy is inconsolable. What sort of enchantment has Lynn cast upon him? When she returns home a second time and discovers that David has already arrived and is now alone with Lynn, she finally admits what her gut has been telling her all along.
